Worse than that, their tunnels were creeping ever closer to - even INTO - our lawn. And with the farmer breathing down our necks to please do something, we had no choice.

Yes, next time you're in Spokane, we'll take you on - it's been a long, long time since little boys ran through this house! I hope you make your way here before we move to Portland, which we'd like to do next spring/summer. At least that would put us closer to you and make the visiting easier. :)Jenny Merteshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08250994637998183592noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3455469208635626614.post-57552533318888866422009-07-03T20:42:23.128-07:002009-07-03T20:42:23.128-07:00OH MY.

I had to read this between the cracks in my fingers, because I'm one of those lightweights feeling sorry for the squirrels, but I couldn't stop reading, and it definitely made me laugh! You've driven Scott to shooting live animals!

I also wanted to say that I wish so much that we could have seen you during Hoopfest weekend. We stayed with some good friends from college, but didn't have time to get together with even ONE other person! It was pitiful of us, but we can only blame the kids who wanted to swim in the pool every minute we weren't dragging them around downtown. But if we ever come that way for longer than 48 hours at a time, I'd love to impose on you!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
